FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY SAFETY
The Foundation for Community Safety was created to strengthen the relationship between Gresham’s first responders and the community they serve. As public safety challenges continue to grow, the organization fills an important gap—providing support for recruitment, training, equipment, and officer appreciation that traditional budgets can’t fully cover. It also creates meaningful opportunities for residents to connect with first responders through events, storytelling, and community programs. By bringing people together and shining a light on the everyday heroes who protect Gresham, the foundation helps build a safer, stronger, and more united community.

MICHAEL PATRICK
President/Executive Director
Michael Patrick has served the Portland Metro area for more than 18 years, helping individuals and families buy, sell, and invest in real estate with integrity and care. A dedicated community leader, he is the former chairman of the Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center Foundation and remains actively involved with numerous nonprofits and civic organizations throughout Gresham and East County.
BESS WILLS
Secretary
Bess Wills, General Manager and Co-Owner of Gresham Ford, brings more than 35 years of experience in fiscal and corporate management across many industries. With a deep heart for the community, she has founded nonprofits and works closely with organizations throughout Gresham and East County to support families and strengthen the community she proudly calls home.
